Luke Fowler (b. 1978)

Three Minute Wonders (2009)

Luke Fowler (b. 1978) is an artist, filmmaker and musician based in Glasgow. He studied printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. His documentary films have explored counter cultural figures including Scottish psychiatrist R. D. Laing and English composer Cornelius Cardew.

Fowler won the inaugural Derek Jarman Award in 2008.

In 2009, he had an exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery. In 2010, Fowler was awarded a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts through their Grants to Artists program.
