Wonderful early interview with performance artist Vito Acconci from 1973 during the height of his importance as a performance artist (ie., before he began moving into sculpture and, eventually, architecture.) Video quality is poor - there's an interference line running though the picture for muc of this, but the expressions and the all-important audio are fine. Acconci is captivating as always. Lots of smoking and drinking in this informal session. A must for Acconci fans and those interested in this vital moment in the transformation of contemporary art. ----------------------- This title is available for exhibitions, screenings, and institutional use through Electronic Arts Intermix (EAI), NY.
