The Leonardo Project: 10+2
From A Paradise of Poets (New Directons, 1999)


The Leonardo Project: A suite of twelve (10 + 2) visual poems commissioned by curators Francesco Conz & Carlo Palli for an exhibition of works in celebration of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. Originally in an 18 x 24 inch format, the twelve poem-panels were produced using a coinbination of photography, xerography, & Adobe Photoshop software. Assistance along the way came from Diane Rothenberg, Harold Cohen, & (most importantly) Lisa Hutton.

The opening line is a quote from Leonardo's Notebooks.
